Overview

The supplier management function and process work with internal stakeholders to improve supplier relationships and service delivery performance. Supplier management works through measurement, supplier meetings, stakeholder interviews and surveys, and escalation routines. The supplier management function collaborates with sourcing, technology innovation, procurement, finance, and other functions. Improving the suppliers’ service delivery performance plays directly into the organization's customer offering quality and price.
